Site History

Here's a brief rundown on the history of my Dragon Ball websites, starting all the way back in 1999.

DBZ World
My first Dragon Ball Z website, created sometime in 1999, and my first website ever. I started off at Geocities, and followed a user created guide to learn HTML. I managed the DBZ World for over a year, and it became fairly popular, with 500~hits per day. As I managed and updated that website I got into web design a lot more, and created several other websites including a gaming website for Starcraft and Quake. Somehwere along the lines I had this bright idea (not so bright in hindsight) to create a Dragon Ball and Gaming combined website. So I created the Extreme Fighter's League. It was happening a lot back then (and still today), where web masters were trying to make bigger websites on various topics or Anime's. I jumped on the bandwagon and unfortunately none of my sites since DBZ World have garnered as many hits. Amazingly I still have the URL memorized for DBZ World, and you can see the closing page here.

Extreme Fighter's League
Created 4/6/2000, this site surpassed DBZ World in terms of web design and HTML, and I carried over all of the DBZ content. I added sections for Starcraft, Warcraft 3,and Quake 3 video games, as well as Battle Reports (Starcraft), reviews, previws, and a forum. I grew the scope of the website a lot, and looking back I should have stuck with a focused Dragon Ball website. The website never gained too much popularity, in part due to several changes in hosts and my inability to keep everything up to date. I registered the URL www.extremefightersleague.com for a while, and you can visit the old site using the "Wayback Machine" here. A tip for learning web masters, do not try to grow your website too much or too quickly!

DBZC
This website. I created it sometime in 2006, after not having an active Dragon Ball site for a few years. The site has idled along for the last 2 years, but I have recently injected some life into it, with full episode downloads and a new design using my latest web design experience.

948 DragonBallZ fans have viewed this site 1273 times. Counter last reset on September 24, 2008.
