DBZC Title Image
Games

A lot of people have been asking for Dragon Ball Z games for the computer. Unfortunately there are no actual stand-alone DBZ games made for the computer as of right now. The most common way if you do not have a console system, is to use a program called an Emulator, and play these console games directly on your PC. There are also various Dragon Ball related modifications for games available such as Quake 3.

Emulation
It must first be noted, that in most cases, unless you own the actual console game, it may be illegal to download the game and play it on your computer. Please read the disclaimers available on the sites that offer these emulators.

Here is a list of some of the most popular console emulators. You can find much more by doing a Google search and typing in the name of the console followed by "emulator".

This is regarded as the best SNES emulator. It's available for all platforms including Linux, BeOS, and Solaris. It supports almost all of the ROMs out there.

ZSNES
Super Nintendo

This is another good emulator for SNES. If you are having problems using SNES9X, use this emulator.

ePSXe
Playstation

This is one of the best PSX emulators out there. It will play most PS1 games without a problem.
Roms
For the CD based game consoles, you can generally use the CD right in your computer's CD drive to play the games. Or you can download an ISO (CD image) that you can mount or play from the emulator. However, for cartridge game systems (such as snes), you will need to find a Rom for the game. A rom is simply a file that contains the game data.

The best way to find games, is to search for them in a search engine (there are many sites that have Roms available for download), or to download them via Bit Torrent. Please read my Bit Torrent Guide to learn how to use a Bit Torrent downloader.
