The Trojan baseball team is regular season solo champions of the prestigious northern region of the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges. They will be going to the NWAACC Tournament in hopes for a championship for the first time since 1966. Holding a two game lead with four games left to play, they needed to win three games in order to guarantee themselves a championship. The regular season concluded with two games at third-place, Bellevue Community College, and two games at home against Shoreline Community College.

Tied for second place at the end of the season, the EvCC Trojans are going to the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges tournament in Portland to compete with the best teams in the league. After losing to first place Bellevue on April 30, the Trojans won six games in a row to guarantee them at least a tie for second place.
However, Friday the 13th was not kind to the Trojans as pitcher Holly Erickson woke up with a sore leg. She fought her way through in the first game to lose 8-0. She went out in the first inning of the second game, but she was up on the mound in tears which left the coaches no choice but to take her out. Although usual catcher, Nicki Crisp, gave her all as the new pitcher, Peninsula College took advantage of a ton of walks and solid base hits and won the game 17-2. Click for More.
