Star Wars Review By Bobby Meade George Lucas is finally going to end the Star Wars saga with the highly anticipated “Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.” Many, like myself, bought tickets in advance to see the movie mere minutes after midnight. After dismal failures to recapture what made the first three movies so special, Lucas is trying to go out with a bang. So far, he has released mediocre films with the name Star Wars attached to them. He placed unforgettable characters into the movies that I wish I could forget, Jar-Jar Binks being the main one. Click for More.

Jade Empire Strikes First By Tom Mrazik Lately, there has been a wave of unusually good games coming out; among them is Jade Empire. Two concepts that have remained apart for so long have been combined in Jade Empire to form a memorable and enjoyable gaming experience: the freedom of an action game and the story and character development of a role-playing game. For the most part, Jade Empire follows the same template that developer BioWare used for their “Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic” games, with some modifications. As much as I love “Star Wars,” I think Jade Empire has a much more compelling story and some improvements its predecessors would be jealous of. After players have customized their character with fighting styles and such, the story is ready to unfold. Click for More.

Weezer By Heather Wizell At an age where Weezer front-guy Rivers Cuomo’s own age-group is dealing with teenagers of their own, the band is out rocking kid’s MP3’s, if only for a little while longer. Daily, in his heart of hearts, Rivers Cuomo open’s his garage door, plugs in his Marshall amp and imagines himself as his heroes KISS, sans the big theatrics and make-up. Only in this journey of our imagination, the KISS army geek can actually play and write music as relevant as his own heroes. Click for More.
